Older Accessories – Page 2

Most of these accessories are no longer sold in the store but are still available in the gift server (or were gift server only to begin with). There are quite a few have been updated and combined into one to save on prims and scripts.

Accessories have a limited amount of tokens to hand out before they become inert, unless they are ETERNAL.

POTTING SOIL

Potting soil significantly speeds up the growth of your pets, but  can add up quickly. It’s probably a good idea to let your pets grow up naturally, unless you’re just impatient =)

——————————————

MISTING SPRAYER

Misting applies a special bonus to various fields, based on its color. The color of the water determines what fields it affects.  M+, L+, S+, F+, growth% speed, %/day, etc. It’ll be a challenge for people to figure out what colors do what.

——————————————

SPARKLING MOTES OF LIGHT

The sparkling motes of light are mostly for plants; it helps the grow and will provide the new breedable plants with an F+ bonus.  Light source/lantern of sorts.  WISPS also happen to love it though; it expands the output of an energy pool or tree. All four of the ‘sizes’ do the same thing, and cost the same amount.  There’s a 1 prim, 3, 5, and 7 prim version. Like most accessories, having 2-3 of them can technically max out the bonus that it applies, but again….that mostly applies to the new breedable plants.

——————————————
RESOURCE HARVESTER

The harvesting basket is very easy to use, and is intended for taking resources from plants you don’t want (for example, a lot of small plants), and transferring those resources as water/prune tokens to larger plants, redistributing the resources in the process.  There -is- some loss in the process considering that the amount of water/prune tokens contains up to a 50% random factor, and that the plants themselves process water and prune tokens in a dynamic fashion.

Harvesting baskets DO work with these plants.   You can use the basket to gather resources from all of those rainbow spurs and tongues that you’ve been collecting, and distribute it back to the breedable plants.  They will get an immediate boost in resources and growth%.

PILE OF SUGAR

Usable once every two hours, it feeds your pets and boosts mating! Only affects up to 16 pets in the area.

———————————————

———————————————
HONEYSUCKLE VINE

Sugary goodness that does the hard work for you! Hourly sugar doses all day long. Lasts forever. Affects up to 1024 pets as well. Comes in 3 prim and 8 prim versions.

———————————————
ENERGY POOL

Helps wisps collect energy in low-plant environments.

———————————————
LEAKY WATER FAUCET

This accessory constantly drips all month long, watering the plants around it. It helps water up to sixteen plants within twenty meters of it, dishing out water tokens every few hours. This may or may not be enough to keep your plants FULLY watered, as that depends on how many plants and butterflies you have…if you have three plants and three hundred butterflies, there’s not much that can save them!

The dripping water supplies 20-30 water tokens every few hours, or about 5-10 per hour, per plant. Each watering token restores fifty to one hundred units of resources. The average butterfly eats between 50-70 units of resources per hour, or roughly one watering token. That means that the leaky water faucet supplies enough tokens to undo the nibbling of a half dozen butterflies PER plant nearby it. Obviously, having more plants around the leaky faucet means far greater results. If ten plants can EACH support that many butterflies, it adds up quickly. With a full garden of 16 plants nearby, the faucet should be able to keep every one of the plants fully watered for as many as 50-70 butterflies.
——————————————–
HUNGRY BIRDY BIRD

This ravenous little bird loves to nibble on spiders, and actively seeks them out in up to sixteen plants nearby where it’s placed. It also has a tendancy to spread around the pollen left by bees, further pollenating the plants. As an added bonus, the security a birdy bird supplies helps easy to worries of the other nearby pets, increasing loyalty and morale by a small amount as if it were a Bard.

——————————————–
HELPFUL BIRDY BIRD

These interesting little birds love to sort through your clovers, nettles, and other patches in search of little beetles and other bugs that may have been nibbling on the roots, and helps tend them for you in the process, acting like a gardening hoe every few hours. They also have the added benefit of prying away unwanted weeds while hunting out these bugs, which will significantly help the upcoming breedable plants.
———————————————

Papillion omni-tree (updated version)  = acts as all accessories and plants, sim-wide  boosts. Never runs out of resources or tokens. It includes all accessories and plants EXCEPT the sugary treats like halloween candy and all that!). Enchanted Sphere is a short range (10 meter) and cheaper alternative version of a honey suckle. It also boosts every 25 minutes. (F+1 ‘Magic’ and F+1 ‘Enchanted, and acts as a Tier-2 honeysuckle  (the base honeysuckle is tier-5, so this one is a very low-tier versoin)

Alien Orchid/ Less Than Alien Orchid provides a special and unique F+ bonus to anything that wanders near it. The bonus stacks with all existing food sources and other bonuses, making it a nifty addition to your collection =) Everyone appreciates a higher mutation%, after all~

Sparklers are like the alien orchid; they boost pets that come close enough to it with a unique bonus. It only has a 10-meter range.

Sugar Crystal Cluster is a 20 meter AoE burst that triggers every hour; less of a boost, but also provides a special F+ bonus.

Ornaments Red, White, and Green  – The three Christmas ornaments (prims, not mutations) each boost your pets in a different way, stack with each other, and help your plants live longer if you don’t have a tree =)

The Firefly King – He’s very pretty~ And he casts a special light over the area that he controls, summoning fireflies around him. Plants love to be in the firefly field, and so do wisps.

Other accessories (not quite sure what they do, if anyone does please tell me) – Patriotic Orchid, It Loves You, A Lump of Coal, Papillon Spring, Crystalline Ornament

PLEASE NOTE: The enchanted sphere, alien orchid, sugar crystal cluster, and sparkler all do the same job, but provide a different bonus. So the four DO stack.
